Help Japan

The Help Japan poster visualises the tsunami that hit Japan on March 11th 2011, causing a nuclear disaster. The Japanese flag, a red disk on a white rectangular banner, symbolises the consequences of the flood in a straightforward and distinctive manner by using simple pleats on one side of the disk. Designed as an appeal for donations with the title “Help Japan”, it communicates the message in the tradition of Japanese simplicity and purity, which can be understood without any mental detours.
