Harmony between Human and Natural Environment
The exhibition “Harmony between human and natural environment” addresses the cultural heritage Cordilleras region on the Philippine island of Luzon. By creating a space inspired by the culture of the Ipugao people, who have defined that region, the exhibition provides a place of experience to appreciate their values and diversity. As the Cordilleras rice field terraces have become the emblem of the Ipugao, a symbolic language called “stairs” was created for the exhibition design. The space is structured like the form of the Cordilleras terraces, and the route through the exhibition is subdivided into several thematic sections.
