XF27mmF2.8 R WR is the successor model to the XF27mmF2.8 and is designed as a streamlined, light pancake lens for everyday photography. It is designed to resist water and dust. A new aperture ring allows for direct control of the depth of sharpness, for example when taking snapshots. The diameter and angle of the operating rings made from polished metal were optimised for comfortable use and give the lens an appealing, premium look.
