France 3 – All for One, One for All
The inspiration for these station idents for the French public television network France 3 comes from the motto of The Three Musketeers “All for one, one for all”. The basic concept lies in the multiple screen layout: 24 narrow windows represent the 24 regional formats, all of which are combined under one roof. The individual windows show different images pertaining to a number of themes which, taken together, are reminiscent of the photo collages of David Hockney. With this stylistic device, France 3 demonstrates that the network is diverse but also close to its audience.
