This campaign by S7 Airlines, headquartered in Russia, offered users the chance to earn miles for staying at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, its aim was to motivate self-isolation and help prevent the spread of the virus. To participate, consumers were encouraged to register on the website or app and click on the “I’m at home” button every day. When their “at home” status was confirmed by geolocation coordinates, they received 100 bonus miles that could be used for real flights in the future. In this way, as the idea spread via social networks, the airline was able to strengthen brand awareness and increase registrations for their loyalty system.
