Felo

Felo is an AI companion designed to improve the interpersonal skills of children in a controlled, positive environment. The key areas targeted are physical activity, responsibility and empathy. Via the associated app, parents are able to set schedules and daily events for their child. The robot models these settings by, for example, getting “sleepy” at a given time, and serves as a guide for the child. In turn, the robot’s feedback is encouraging if the child responds to its needs. Through the use of add-ons, Felo can also foster outdoor activities.

Red Dot
