The NGO “Jugend gegen AIDS” (Youth against AIDS) focuses on a peer-to-peer concept in its communication strategy and trains young people to lead educational workshops in their schools. For their 10th anniversary, they published a sex education book available through book shops. This choice of medium was to protect the privacy of the target group, as a book does not leave any data traces. The editorial design is colourful and tailored to the target group, without being gaudy. The NGO’s visual identity is reflected in the headline design, the use of colour and the abstract typographical elements used throughout the publication.
