Engagement Gift Box

In Taiwan the customary engagement present is a sack of rice to bless the couple with an always well-stocked pantry. This elegant gift box differs from the monochrome red packaging otherwise typical in Taiwan. Silver is implemented as a contrast colour, and the silver box is adorned with a peony print – a symbol of prosperity and happiness in marriage. At the top of the box, the rice sack arises from within like a red peony and is framed by a silver cord handle.
