Taking the form of a project called Endangered Animals Graphic Archives, these illustrations draw attention to the numerous endangered species that are disappearing. The archive is based on the Red List of Threatened Species published by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The faces of the animals are reinterpreted as graphic designs resembling portraits of people who in bygone times had such portraits of themselves made before they died. Introduced first as an iPad application in 2012, these illustrations are also at the heart of many additional products.
