Identity System
Dutch Children’s Ombudsman
Under legislation enacted in 2010, the first ombudsman for children reports directly and independently to the Dutch Parliament since April 2011. The corporate identity of the ombudsman for children is marked by a high-contrast colour choice. The typography appears alternately in either blue or red on changing backgrounds. Generously placed messages convey the ambitious intentions of the ombudsman system. The concise visual language is a schematic representation of the home environment and, thus, the world of children’s urban experiences.
