By contrast to conventional casters with “ball bearing configurations”, da caster sets itself apart through the use of a “sliding configuration” that does away with both axle and bearing. da caster consists of an aluminium casing, a roller and an inner ring made of a particular type of resin which makes it possible to create a ring-shaped wheel with a central hole. The result is a hubless caster with sufficient strength and stability that nonetheless appears to float.
