Logo Design
Cologne Cathedral
Seven isosceles triangles unite to form the new logo of the Cologne Cathedral, with the three golden triangles at the base, in the shape of a crown, symbolising the shrine of the Three Magi around which the cathedral was built. The upper triangles represent the two towers of the west facade and their reflection in the Rhine. The new word marks combine the clarity of a sans serif grotesque font with the sensibility of a Gothic minuscule, thus referring to the architectural style of the cathedral.
