CITINIC
Experiencing cities, metropolises and regions from unusual and hitherto unknown perspectives, and being amazed by new facets – this is the claim staked by CITINIC. The company produces editions of city postcards and print media which evince an ambitious visual language, with an eye to adding new points of view to the existing market. Focusing on black-and-white photography, the design concept defines itself in contrast to the colourful images of an era in which digital pictures are increasingly favoured, aiming to preserve old traditions and the convention of writing postcards. The collection also features folding cards as well as limited-edition art prints. Editions of further cities and regions are in development.
