This short film introduces six cinematographers, trailblazers and up-and-comers, who share their insights into the politics of the position. Quiet interview sequences alternate with lively shots showing the work on the set. The statements of the professionals illustrate the difficulties women still face in the industry, yet point out that things are changing, not least because of the Me Too movement. By portraying the image designers in a decidedly human manner, the film helps the audience to empathise with them and listen to their concerns.
