Borges: Illustrated

“Borges: Illustrated” is a project that involved illustrating five short stories by the Argentinian writer and poet Jorge Luis Borges. Each story was illustrated with one main image, one spot illustration and one decorative letter. The purpose of the images was to explore, depict and conceptualise the main themes found within the vast universe of these texts. The ultimate goal was to offer the viewers an artistic visualisation of the stories and to enrich their experience while reading Borges. In total, fifteen pieces were developed and compiled along with the stories in a printed book.
