The ARNO-II bed earned the approval of the jury with its “elegant appearance that radiates comfort and, in addition, offers contemporary functionality”. The design of the gently curved headboard was inspired by the wings of a swan. The wood frame is made from walnut veneer to reduce wood consumption. Furthermore, the fabric covering the upholstered section is made from recycled plastic bottles. Two USB ports, dimmable LED lighting and a storage space built into the headboard offer users added practical value. The combination of a base mattress with a high-comfort top mattress ensures that the bed is very comfortable to lie on.
