During the development of the ONE USE Eco disposable cigarette, particular attention was paid to recyclability, with active participation by consumers playing a special role. Thus, targeted economic incentives for the return of used elements were set through discounts for repeat purchases. The material, functional product design also promotes waste avoidance. The housing made of recycled plastic can be converted into pellets. Battery and sensor technology are inserted into a separate module, from which the manufacturer can create new modules for his products again. The product concept with its extension to conclusive recycling processes impressed the jury.
