The visual identity of the 59th Thessaloniki International Film Festival is based on a simple idea: the celebration of celluloid as a symbol of film-making and storytelling. The key visual is a film roll that unreels motion graphics, TV and cinema commercials. The moving film strips tell stories, awaken emotions and provide information about the festival. A cinephile-friendly identity that is easy to read and sets itself apart from the design of past years was created in this way.
