“World’s Best Communication Design“ opened in Taipei
On 23 April, the exhibition “World’s Best Communication Design“ was opened in the course of a Best Practice Seminar in Taipei. At the Creativity Center of the Taiwan Design Center, several speakers presented successful projects from the communication design industry and illustrated the benefits of a distinction within the Red Dot Award. Speakers were among others Professor Dr. Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot, Wen-long Chen, CEO of the Taiwan Design Center, as well as Jennifer Tsai, President and Creative Director of Proad Identity.
Since 24 April, visitors can experience a selection of all international projects that were awarded with the Red Dot: Best of the Best and the Red Dot: Grand Prix in last year’s competition. The show in the Red Dot Design Museum Taipei runs until 18 October 2015.
In the last years, due to numerous entries with the highest creative potential, Taiwan has become one of the leading countries for communication design in the Red Dot Award. In 2014 alone, more than 70 projects from Taiwanese designers were awarded in the competition. 12 works even received the Red Dot: Best of the Best, the distinction for highest design quality.
