Red Dot in Xiamen: Networking at China's most important fair for awarded design
Again, Red Dot brings the world of product design to the South-Chinese metropolis Xiamen: For the fourth time in a row, Red Dot is the major partner and organiser of the Xiamen International Design Business Week. From 30 October until 2 November 2015, exciting exhibitions, informative presentations and the Red Dot Academy invite for professional exchange, networking and entering new markets.
With special booths, designers and manufacturers have the opportunity to present themselves, their latest products, their design studio or their company. Among the more than 100 participating international companies listed 2014 were the Swiss coffee machine manufacturer Jura and the kitchen outfitter allmilmö. In addition to the electronics company Philips, the Italian company Studio Inverso and the LKK Design Group from Beijing were represented.
Since 2012, the fair for top-class design is an important platform for manufacturers and designers on the Asian continent. Moreover, the event is a crowd-puller for professionals as well as a design interested audience: Last year, 30.000 visitors experienced award-winning products, informative presentations and numerous design experts of the Red Dot World on site.
