Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016 has startet
Since 26 October 2015, established design luminaries, medium-sized businesses as well as up-and-coming professionals have the opportunity to submit their innovations to hope for one of the most coveted awards in the world: in the Red Dot Award: Product Design.
31 product categories provide space for the incredibly wide range of designs in the different industries. Each submission will be assessed and judged live on site by an international jury of independent design experts. Innovation, formal quality, functionality and ecological compatibility are just some of the criteria on which their decision is based - and only the best products are awarded with the sought after seal of quality. A winning product receives the distinction “Red Dot”, “Red Dot: Best of the Best” or “Honourable Mention”.

In 2015, 4,928 products from more than 56 nations were submitted to the Red Dot Design Award - there is no comparable competition, which is experiencing such a popular reception.
