Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2015
New year, new opportunity: The Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2015 is at the ready. Under the motto “In Search of Creativity and Innovation”, on 23 March, the Early Bird phase of the world’s most renowned competition for communication design will start. Once again, designers, agencies, freelancers and companies are invited to submit their projects and to face the assessment of the international Red Dot jury. From corporate design and print advertising to online – the search is for the most innovative campaigns and graphic works from the world of communication design. Thereby, there is no limit to the participants` individual competencies: Be it Advertising, Packaging, or Apps – a total of 17 categories offers a variety of opportunities to give proof to their creative projects’ qualities.
Those who manage to convince the international expert panel, may decorate themselves with the sought-after quality hallmark of the design industry, the Red Dot. The distinction impresses partners, industry experts as well as customers alike and is a guarantee for world-wide interest. Along with the distinction, winners of the Red Dot Award: Communication Design have many more benefits: Be it the presentation in the International Yearbook Communication Design, as well as in the Red Dot App and in the online presentation, the winners’ exhibition “Design on Stage” and also the media coverage of Red Dot. And on top of that, with the help of Red Dot communication campaigns travel around the world: From Basel, to Taipei, to Singapore – Red Dot on Tour exhibits all winning projects in the international creative cities.

The award ceremony, in which Professor Dr. Peter Zec, Initiator and CEO of Red Dot, hands over the coveted Red Dot trophies, is always the highlight of each year. Also this year, Red Dot celebrates in the design metropolis Berlin: On 7 November 2015, the competition`s winners will be honored at the Red Dot Gala in the glamorous Konzerthaus Berlin. Following, the design scene will celebrate at the Designers’ Night in the Berlin scene location E-Werk until the wee hours.
Until April 15th, participants can benefit from the conditions of the Early Bird phase. Subsequently, until 21 May, the Regular application is on the run. The Latecomers phase is the last chance to register for the competition and ends on 19 June 2015.
