Living, Doing, Working & Enjoying: Red Dot Design Yearbook 2016/2017 shows current award-winning products
The Red Dot Design Yearbook 2016/2017 reflects the entire spectrum of contemporary products and innovations from all fields of everyday life. Subdivided into different topics, it provides a vibrant picture of the design industry and its current developments. For the first time, the reference work of current industrial design will be published in four volumes: The single books “Living”, “Doing” and “Working” will be complemented by the volume “Enjoying”.
Four individual volumes show products from all spheres of life
The yearbook presents all products which received an award from the international expert jury in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016. The single volume “Living” shows products for the field of life and living, whereas “Doing” deals with objects for the activity and lifestyle-orientated sector. Moreover, the book “Working” presents innovations which enable a more efficient and comfortable work and “Enjoying” is dedicated to leisure and relaxation.
Information and inspiration
Expressive photographs and background information, give the reader an understanding of the winner products from all sectors of daily life. Interviews with designers and jurors complete the insight into latest developments, potential and trends in international product design. The Red Dot Design Yearbook 2016/2017 will be published as a premium-quality hardcover version on 4 July 2016. The bi-lingual work – English/German – is available as individual volumes or as a set in the Red Dot Shop.
