The Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design is one of the most prestigious international design competition that recognises outstanding achievements in the field of brand management and communication. It is recognised worldwide for its expertise in evaluating design quality and offers a unique opportunity to have your work assessed by an independent jury of international design industry experts.
In search of good design & creativity
It has now entered a new round: from 19 February to 7 June 2024, manufacturers and service companies can have their brand presence evaluated in the “Brands” section. Designers, agencies and companies are also invited to submit their creative projects and campaigns in the “Communication Design” category. » More information on the participation
The competition is divided into the categories “Brands” and “Communication Design”. The Brands section focuses on brands. Participants can seize the occasion to have their overall brand presence assessed. In the Communication Design section, projects and campaigns take centre stage. Here, designers, agencies and companies can submit their realised projects and campaigns in 18 design categories, including Brand Design & Identity, Advertising, Digital Solutions and many more.
Red Dot: Junior Award
Another part of the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design is the Red Dot: Junior Award. It is aimed at trainees, students and young professionals who graduated no more than two years ago. In addition to the chance to be recognised with a Red Dot or a Red Dot: Best of the Best, participants in the Junior Award also have the chance to win the Red Dot: Junior Prize, which is endowed with 10,000 euros and goes to the Junior with the most convincing project. In 2023, Marie-Luise Charlotte Weier and her project “PYRY” were delighted to receive this exceptional award.

Registration for the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design is possible from 19 February 2024 and is divided into the following registration phases:
Early Bird: 19 February – 15 March 2024
Regular: 16 March – 17 May 2024
Latecomer: 18 May 2024 – 7 June 2024
Early Birds benefit from a reduced registration fee. Red Dot: Junior Award participants receive a 10 % discount on the registration fee and, if awarded, a 20 % discount on the Winner Package.
