“Every global design award needs to assess the submissions with an international point of view, independent of design values of a regional market. Therefore, ‘China Good Design’ will focus on the Chinese market and will definitely pay more attention to the Chinese people's habits, designers’ concepts and cultural expressions. With the rise of Chinese design and the economic growing into the centre of the world market, ‘China Good Design’ will gradually become an international award followed by global brands”, emphasised Prof. Dr. Peter Zec’s in his speech.
Mr. Wang Daoming, President of Hanergy Product Development Group, considered that Chinese design should focus on creating new and high-quality experience for users. Ms. Man Ng, General Founder of Ten Plus Venture Capital, hopes that China Good Design could serve Chinese entrepreneurs with more successful experience. Mr. Zhang Xiangdong, Founder of 700Bike, said he would be delighted if China Good Design could pay more attention to the new design wave of intellectualisation happening in the field of traditional products. Prof. Dr. Peter Zec revealed that he will report these ideas to the judges establishing a more comprehensive jury standard.
