Award-winning design at the Munich Creative Business Week

From 24 February until 1 March 2015, the MCBW FORUM creates space to think about design at the Alte Kongresshalle München. Being the central event platform at the Munich Creative Business Week (MCBW), the MCBW FORUM provides the perfect setting for the exchange of ideas between experts, design professionals and the interested public. It is the perfect location for the Red Dot Design Museum Essen to present “Formosa Forms”.

The exhibition, which was commissioned by the Taiwan Design Center, Taipei, showcases about 100 elaborate exhibits which underline both the contrast and the symbiosis of tradition and modernity in Taiwanese design. On show are communication works as well as product designs, all of which were decorated with the Red Dot and/or the Golden Pin Design Award.

The exhibition of contemporary Taiwanese design developments will be opened in the Alte Kongresshalle München, on 24 February, 11 a.m.
After the opening address by Vito Oražem, Managing Director Design Zentrum NRW and Red Dot Design Museum, Dr. Silke Claus, CEO bayern design, will welcome the guests in the exhibition at the MCBW FORUM. Bering representatives of Taiwan, David Wei-ta Chang, Director General of the Tapeh Vertretung, and Wen-long Chen, CEO Taiwan Design Center, Taipei, will deliver welcome addresses. Subsequently, the attendants are invited to discover the innovations and exchange on the latest design developments in the different industries.
