Your next steps

The Winner Package includes various measures and certificates for winners of the Red Dot Design Award. These include, among others:

• The use of the Red Dot Label
• The Red Dot Certificate in double or quadruple version
• Winners of the Red Dot: Best of the Best also receive the Red Dot Trophy
• Publication of the award-winning product in the Winner Section
• Publication in the Red Dot Design Yearbook
• Presentation of the award-winning in the winning exhibition at the Red Dot Design Museum Essen and other exhibitions as required

As soon as you have completed the booking of your Winner Package with successful receipt of payment, you can use your Red Dot Label and communicate your success in the competition.

All services and options of the Winner Package can be found in detail in the brochure “Services for winners”, which you can download from your My Red Dot account.

Credits are details of your product and the people involved in the product. Your credits will be used on the Red Dot Certificates and for all publications of your award.

• Under the menu item “My Credits” you can view all the details you have entered during the registration process.
• Please check the information provided carefully and complete any missing information.
• You have the option of releasing or editing your data up to and including 11 April 2025.
• You have the option of adding up to nine person names to the design teams.
• To list other project participants, you must provide the first and last names of the persons.
• If we do not receive any feedback from you by 11 April 2025, the information you provided when registering will be used automatically. 
• In the approval phase, the credits are shown to you again for final checking.

Once payment has been received and the Winner Package has been booked, you can download your Red Dot Label and communicate your success.

You can find the Red Dot Media Support, which provides inspiration for communicating about your award-winning product here.

We provide you with various versions of the winner label, as PNG, EPS and SVG files, under the menu item “Red Dot Label”. The label package also includes the Design Manual, which explains the correct use of the quality seal.

• On 23 April 2025, we will inform the international design trade press that this year’s winners have been announced. 
• On 8 July 2025, we will publish all winners of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025 in the Winners Section.
• Throughout the year, we regularly present award winners via the Red Dot social media channels. You can add a social media presentation depending on the distinction as part of the Winner Package booking. Please understand that your winning product may be presented later in the year.

As a winner of the Red Dot: Best of the Best, you can already book tickets for the award ceremony on 8 July 2025 in Essen from 5 May 2025.

• Two or four free tickets are automatically reserved for you for each award-winning Best of the Best product. The two tickets are valid for the Red Dot Gala and the Designers’ Night.
• These tickets must be booked by you by 30 May 2025.
• To book your free tickets, you will need the PI code of your award-winning product as well as the first and last names, email addresses and telephone numbers of the future ticket holders. 
• Access to the Designers’ Night is possible with combination tickets as well as with separately available Designers’ Night tickets.
• A credit card or PayPal account is required to book additional tickets.
• You can purchase a maximum of six combination tickets and 10 Designers’ Nights tickets to your free tickets.

You can book your tickets for the award ceremony from 26 May 2025.

• The number of tickets for both events is limited. It is therefore worth booking early. 
• Tickets can be booked until 8 July 2025.
• A total of up to six combination tickets for the Red Dot Gala can be booked per registrant. Admission to the after-show party “Designers’ Night” is already included in these tickets. In addition, up to 10 individual tickets for the Designers’ Night can be purchased.
• To make a booking, you will need the PI code of your award-winning product as well as the first and last names, telephone numbers and email addresses of the intended ticket holders.

Furthermore, either a credit card or a PayPal account is required.

There are two ticket types to choose from. The combination ticket, which includes the Red Dot Gala and the Designers’ Night, and tickets for the Designers’ Night.

You can book up to six combination tickets and 10 Designers’ Night tickets.

Cost per combined ticket: € 95 

Cost per Designers’ Night ticket: € 75

Notice: Winners of the Red Dot: Best of the Best receive two or four free tickets for the awards ceremony, depending on the booked Winner Package. The prices listed above apply to additional tickets as well as ticket bookings by Red Dot winners.

The Red Dot: Best of the Best Reception at the Red Dot Design Museum Essen marks the start of the day for the winners of the Red Dot: Best of the Best. As guests at this event, the Red Dot: Best of the Best winners are among the first visitors to the winning exhibitions “Milestones in Contemporary Design” and “Design on Stage”.

We look forward to welcoming the holders of the free tickets to this mandatory event.

The Red Dot Gala is a unique event that attracts around 1,200 guests from the international design scene every year. The centrepiece of the event is the presentation of the Red Dot Trophys to the winners of the Red Dot: Best of the Best.

Following the Red Dot Gala, we want to celebrate your success with you. The event will take place at the Red Dot Design Museum Essen. There you can celebrate your success and discover all of this year's winning products in the museum.

All award-winning products will be presented in the “Winners” section of the Red Dot website from 8 July 2025. Here you will find the credit details that you have entered as well as your images and your text.

The Red Dot Design Yearbook 2025/26 will be published on 25 August 2025. If you have ordered a complimentary copy or additional yearbooks, we will send them to the address you provided in August. You can purchase additional copies in the Red Dot Winner Shop while stocks last.

The award-winning products will be presented to a wide audience both online and in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen. The exhibition year begins on 8 July 2025 with the opening of the winning exhibitions "Milestones in Contemporary Design" and "Design on Stage" at the Red Dot Design Museum Essen. The “Red Dot: Design Team of the Year” will be presented in a special exhibition.
