The YUCAN office chair is based on a honeycomb-like structure, which – comparable to the composition of a beehive – is intended to provide stability. With a support layer made of synthetic resin, the uneven pressure on individual parts of the back is dissipated and heat circulation is improved. The integrated headrest prevents the trapezius muscle from swelling while sitting. A cushioning spring in the seating area provides additional relief during desk work. The jury was convinced by the well-thought-out ergonomic construction and the restrained design language of the office chair.
