Soup Bowl

Back Download

It is common in China to eat soup together from one bowl. In order to satisfy this habit of Chinese consumers, this soup bowl features a wide edge for resting spoons at its lower part. The edge also makes sure that the bowl can easily be carried because it does not heat up. The buoyant contour is inspired by traditional Chinese architecture, with the tapered lid being reminiscent of a pagoda roof. Furthermore, the bottom of the bowl features a wide edge to ensure a more comfortable transport. The bowls are easy to stack and available in two colours.

Statement by the Jury
