Social Media History Project
#VictoryPages: Social Media History
#VictoryPages is a social media documentary commemorating the 75th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany, launched by Russian television network RT. It uses the tools and language of digital media and five social networks to address young people in particular, and employs visual art, interactive formats, 3D animations, virtual and augmented reality, and dynamic real-time storytelling. The educational project builds engaging narratives and combines personal impressions of people who were present at the time with digital art and creativity. It unites young artists, designers, musicians, animators and content creators to create a new kind of tribute to World War II veterans.
