Book
Unutterable
The work “Unutterable”, which consists of five books, revolves around people who are embarrassed and ashamed following sexual harassment, and find it difficult to talk about their experience. Expressive imagery, including black-and-white drawings, conveys the distress, intimidation and bewildering emotions as well as the core value of physical autonomy. The story is told by five characters who represent five different perspectives and are each associated with one symbol, such as a mirror, wings or the sun. Different colours and textures are used to create distinction between the books.
