Tim is an oversized, hand-blown pendant luminaire made of crystal glass. It was designed for an exhibition on the director Tim Burton and his surreal movie worlds. Every single luminaire is a unique piece and reminiscent of a gigantic water drop. Manufacturing a luminaire of this size requires the skills of experienced glassmakers. Complementary to this version, Tim is also available in smaller dimensions for installation in living spaces.
Statement by the Jury
This pendant luminaire, the clear design language of which was convincingly realised in a skillfully handcrafted production process, has an impressive impact.
