SYNSYS
The SYNSYS microprocessor-controlled prosthetic leg features triple flexion. The integral mechatronic system allows for simultaneous coordination of ankle and knee movements in extension of the hip. The built-in sensors detect the phases of the gait cycle to adjust the resistance of the prosthesis in real time: the knee joint brakes in support and blocks when returning to extension the bending movement of the ankle when sitting or squatting is possible. This prosthetic leg enables safe stair climbing as well as comfortably walking up and down slopes – and makes changing shoes easy. “A pleasant look and a very impressive range of functions,” the jury found.
