Sydney GoFlat

The Sydney GoFlat has been designed to enable the early mobilisation of intensive care patients. The chair facilitates the safe transfer of patients from the hospital bed to a fully seated position. It is designed such that it can be backed up to the hospital bed without almost any gap. This favours a gentle repositioning of the patient. Control is carried out via remote control – height and position can be individually adjusted at the touch of a button. The jury praised the product “on the basis of its sophisticated ergonomic layout and functionality, which serve the needs of patients and caregivers alike to a large extent.”
