The thermal spray coating machine called surface one was developed to enhance the properties of surfaces, such as resistance to heat and corrosion. Compared to conventional systems, the machine combines all necessary components in one standardised compact design. This significantly speeds up configuration and installation and ensures reliable and repeatable coatings. The app-based user interface can be expanded with further functions at any stage.

Statement by the Jury

Breaking the mould in regard to design in order to enhance the effectiveness and user-friendliness of the technology – this has been superbly achieved by surface one.
