In order to trigger interest in reading poetry, especially in the target group of young people, the selection of poems in this book is complemented by appealing illustrations. Guided by the idea that abstract wording is more easily conveyed through illustrations, this approach helps young readers to understand the meaning of the poems much better. In addition, all poems in this book are set in a handwritten font, since words penned by hand appeal more directly to the sentiments of readers. Thus, the emotional worlds presented in the poems can be experienced on a more engaging level.
