Starkids

Starkids comprises a wearable EEG sensor kit, a mobile app and neuro-feedback games aimed at preschool children with autism spectrum disorder. The games depict occasions involving social interaction and collaboration between either children or cartoon characters. The twelve signs of the zodiac were chosen as the overarching theme of the games. Each animal must complete a challenge that the player must help with. Positive feedback and a motivating game concept strengthen the children’s interest in engaging with the games for a longer period of time. The objective is to improve their social and language skills.
