Sphera follows a rational design approach that combines high functionality with a visual reminiscence of the space age during the second half of the 1960s. The bowls collection wants to give the impression of having jumped straight out of films like “Barbarella” with Jane Fonda by Roger Vadim or “Space Odyssey” by Stanley Kubrick. Associations with extravagant objects are formed that were characteristic of a vanguard living style. The bowls, trays and decorative glass objects of this collection are characterised by a curved form language and thus clearly set themselves apart from traditional forms. The collection offers a variety of applications: its large stainless steel bowls serve as a tray or a decorative element on the table; the smaller bowls can be used to accommodate or collect something. Together with the small tray, the vessels, made of borosilicate glass, present a stylish cruet stand for vinegar, oil, salt and pepper.
