Smart Keyboard
Embodying an intelligently interacting keyboard, the Smart Keyboard offers users a highly exciting operation mode. Over time, it “learns” the typing habits of users and automatically adjusts the keyboard layout accordingly. This is facilitated by analysing the special touch points of each key pressed. In addition, users can change the size of the keys by increasing or decreasing the height of the keyboard; frequently used punctuation keys can also be configured as required. This intelligent keyboard thus offers a high level of writing comfort for the accurate typing of texts and thereby reduces the number of spelling mistakes, as it also suggests the next most probable character or word in the text while typing. Users can choose the suggested word by simply swiping towards it without even having to move the hand. Incorrect characters and typing mistakes, which turn red, can be altered easily by pressing and holding the space key and then dragging the cursor to the left or to the right.
Statement by the Jury
What impresses about the design of the Smart Keyboard is the possibility of customisation. It is based on a concept that is both innovative and intelligent, as it employs touch points. The size of the keys can be changed and adapted to the size of the user’s fingertips. The keyboard then adapts accurately to both the user’s fingertip size and the respective typing habits.
