Smart BT-Plug is a Bluetooth-enabled plug-in socket which considerably eases operation of electrically driven appliances in households: sockets and USB connectors can be remote-controlled. Appliances can be switched on and off wirelessly via mobile phone, tablet or other mobile devices; a timer or standby mode can be activated or deactivated. Several outlets can be controlled simultaneously and automatic energy consumption can be monitored.
