The device includes an automated lip-reading element that catches shapes made by the mouth. This is combined with speech synthesis to produce a natural conversation for the other party. SILENTALK is a headset that facilitates communication without speaking, only whispering or mouthing words. Compact and highly portable, it is an optimal solution for busy professionals always on the move. The tip of the headset holds a tiny camera positioned near the user’s mouth to lip-read the words being mouthed.
