The Santiago lamp fits seamlessly into a wall or ceiling and facilitates architecture in its purest form, unencumbered by visible lighting fixtures. When a low level of light is needed, only a thin strip of light is visible. As a next step, the lamp “bends” inwards and a significant amount of light sensually caresses the wall or ceiling, an effect heightened by the coloured interior of the lamp; thus literally unifying light and architecture.
