Bar
Pussyfoot Saloon
Pussyfoot Saloon was originally inspired by the 1920s; reviving the charm of illegal bars during Prohibition. To avoid just reproducing a bar from that period, the idea of creating a bar in a train provided the starting point for the design. The layout was based on the characteristics of classic luxury trains of the period: two signature colours, cocktail green and cocktail gold, were chosen and attuned to the materials used, such as wood and marble, and the yellowish light of the illumination. As the bar has no windows, video screens were mounted on the walls, showing video animations to reinforce the impression of a moving train.
