The Protector ski binding was especially developed to reduce strain on skiers’ knees and ligaments caused by backward twisting falls. The new Full Heel Release (FHR) technology integrated into the binding adds a horizontal component to the previous limited and merely vertical heel release function. While the skiing behaviour remains the same compared to conventional bindings, Protector can keep the skier safe from harm by significantly reducing the risk or severity of knee injuries in the event of a fall.
