PRIMUS 200

Back Download

The Primus 200 is an imaging device for optical coherence tomography, which is used by ophthalmologists for the diagnostic examination of the patient’s retina. The manual joystick control makes it particularly easy to use. The alignment of the patient and the triggering of the imaging process are carried out with one hand via the joystick and the integrated button. Thanks to the optical head’s slim housing, the ophthalmologist has a clear view of the patient at all times. The slim swivel arm is a seamless connection between the optical head and the cross table.

Statement by the Jury

The design of the Primus 200 appears particularly light-footed and slender. The dynamically curved edges lend a soft touch to the silhouette.
