Polyphony

The Polyphony retail store houses limited editions of vinyl records and Marvel comics. Its clean lines and high-quality materials catch the eye. The narrow floor plan offers space for two custom-made display walls. One presents comic books, each of which is placed in a swivelmounted acrylic display case. The other sepia-tinted wall displays 50 records, each of which is held in place by four stainless steel clips. The sepia colour is repeated in the listening booths, thus creating a vintage feel and giving the otherwise predominantly white room a sense of warmth.

Statement by the Jury

The purist design of the Polyphony retail store managed to highlight the goods for sale in an almost artistic way, while the attention paid to exquisite details is highly appealing.
