Orientation System
PKRück Signage Concept
In analogy to the 1950s architectural style of the headquarters building of the insurance company PKRück in Zurich, Switzerland, a flexible and playful signage concept was developed. The letter case principle, typical of large administrative buildings from that time, not only provides orientation on all floors but also allows room for communicative contrasts reflecting the company’s corporate design. In this way, the rather official and sober aesthetics of directional signs in the stairwell, elevator and kitchen is juxtaposed with playful and changing messages.
