“Pineapple, banana or lemon?” is a cooperative game for four players. For its development, the existing literature on games and play was examined, and hybrid games on the market were tested, compared and observed in respect to their digital and analogue components. Finally, rapid prototypes were used to gain insight into various areas of hybrid games. The information was then used to build an iteratively designed game prototype and expand it with an augmented reality smartphone application, making it emerge as an exciting type of hybrid game.
