PICT

It took four years of technical and design development work to create PICT, an innovative building material intended to raise levels of well-being and, at the same time, provide the perfect wall surface. PICT is a patented, modular optical wall system made of glass blocks. Each 227 x 227 x 80 mm sized unit consists of 16 lenses that allow the possibility to see a picture of the outside of the room without being seen. Thanks to the lens construction, the exterior appears to be multiplied and is “transmitted” in a partially distorted way resulting in interesting optical effects. In this way, the new material harmoniously integrates the surroundings and helps to improve the quality of life. It connects rooms and is particularly suited to hotels, showrooms and luxurious interiors adding life and light to architecture by lighting and enlivening interiors. PICT is easy to install and maintain. It can be recycled in its entirety and does not require an external energy source to do its job.
