“Enduring, not ultimate form”: from “Industrieform” to Red Dot (1980 - 1997)
Painting Stool
This is a painting, taken down and turned into a stool. This is a stool that folds up, hangs on the wall and turns into a picture.
The outer frame is made of eucalyptus, a durable and highly flexible material for a comfort when sitting. The entire object can be hung up to save space. The inner and outer frames are connected by steel balls, which can withstand frequent rotations. When the inner and outer frame are combined, and the card slot installed, a seamless connection from the stool to the frame can be achieved.
